Gauteng Weather

Beginning in Gauteng, the economic heartland of the nation, we can expect a day of clear skies and mild temperatures. Johannesburg will start at 9°C, warming up to a pleasant 18°C by midday before dropping slightly to 15°C in the evening. Pretoria, not far behind, will start at a cool 7°C, reach a maximum of 19°C, and settle at around 16°C later in the day. Overall, Gauteng weather features clear, sunny afternoons with some cloud cover rolling in overnight.

Gauteng Province Hourly Forecast

Conditions: Mostly fine and cool during the day with some cloud cover in the early morning and evening, consistent with a high UV index and mild wind.

Western Cape Weather

Moving to the Western Cape, temperatures will be milder, particularly in Cape Town, which is expected to start the morning at a chilly 9°C and peak at 17°C. The skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the morning, transitioning to clearer conditions by the afternoon. Areas like Stellenbosch and George can anticipate similarly cool starts with highs of 18°C and 16°C respectively. With winds expected, especially along the coast, caution is advised for outdoor activities.

KwaZulu-Natal Weather

In KwaZulu-Natal, the weather is anticipated to be quite variable. Durban will start off foggy at 14°C but is expected to warm to 19°C, with partially cloudy skies by noon—the evening will feel slightly chillier at around 16°C. Pietermaritzburg and regions like Richards Bay will also experience mornings shrouded in fog and a chance of showers, particularly along the coast. Residents should be prepared for isolated rain.

Eastern Cape Weather

The weather is generally mild, with some regions being lush and green due to recent rains.

Free State Weather

Both of these provinces will enjoy sunny conditions throughout the day, making it ideal for outdoor plans.
