    Why Golf Tourism Matters

Golf tourism continues to be one of the world’s highest value tourism segments, with travellers often staying longer and spending more than traditional leisure visitors.

Visitors typically combine golf with accommodation, restaurants, shopping, attractions and other tourism experiences, creating economic opportunities across multiple sectors.

Hosting the convention in Ekurhuleni also reinforces Gauteng’s position as a gateway to Africa, making it easier for delegates from across the continent and international markets to attend.
