Visit Gauteng has won Gold at the 2026 International Tourism Film Festival Africa (ITFFA), with the province’s destination marketing film receiving top honours in the Tourism Video: Tourism Destination Marketing category. The award was announced during the ITFFA ceremony held in Johannesburg on 5 June 2026. While tourism awards may appear symbolic, industry experts say recognition of this nature plays an important role in destination marketing, tourism growth, investor confidence and economic development.
