Lottery results on What’s On G are published by the Results Desk, an automated system operated under editorial oversight. Before any result is published, the system applies the following checks:
- Two independent sources must agree. Winning numbers are retrieved from two separate published sources and compared. If they do not match exactly, nothing is published and the draw is held for human review.
- The draw date must match. A result is only published for the date it belongs to; data that does not confirm the correct draw date is rejected.
- Repeat results are blocked. If retrieved numbers are identical to the previous draw’s, publication is automatically held and the editorial team is alerted, protecting readers from stale source data.
- Payout tables come from the published draw reports and are shown per division as reported.
Despite these checks, the National Lottery operator’s official channels remain the authoritative record of any draw. Always confirm against your ticket and the official operator before acting on a result. If you believe a published result is wrong, email [email protected] – see our corrections process.
