    -Tourism, hospitality and visitor attraction professionals will gather in Pretoria on Thursday, 20 August 2026, for the AAVEA Gauteng Chapter Meeting. Hosted by the African Association of Visitor Experiences and Attractions in partnership with the Gauteng Tourism Authority, the event will focus on industry collaboration, practical learning and networking. Open to both members and non-members, the meeting will take place at the Javett Art Centre at the University of Pretoria and aims to support the continued growth of Gauteng’s tourism sector.

    According to the organisers, this year’s programme has been developed around the themes of connection, growth and the future of tourism in Gauteng.
