South Africa has launched its first National Science Month, expanding the country’s former National Science Week into a month-long programme running from 1 to 31 July 2026. The initiative was launched at the Vaal University of Technology’s Southern Gauteng Science and Technology Park in Sebokeng and will bring science activities, exhibitions, public talks and learning opportunities to communities across the country.
