On Sunday, things get even more soulful. None other than the iconic Ms Lauryn Hill – joined by Wyclef Jean, YG Marley and Zion Marley – will headline the day. SA’s beloved Lira will also grace the stage with her unmatched Afro-soul magic.
“It’s a bold blend of local icons and global greatness,” says Funeka Peppeta, the festival’s media and marketing director.
The Channel O Dance Stage: A Groove Like No Other
Dance lovers, rejoice. The Channel O Dance Stage will be an all-out celebration of Amapiano, Afro-Tech, Gqom, Hip Hop, and more.
On Saturday, the energy kicks off with Rap Academy, featuring Success SA, Jus Gigi, Royal MusiQ, and 031 Choppa. Kamo Mphela and Distruction Boyz will turn up the heat before international DJ ASHOJU and local favourite Oscar Mbo take the decks.
Sunday follows with a nostalgic yet contemporary vibe. Expect timeless sets from legends DJ Fresh, Vinny Da Vinci, Lulo Café and more. Sandy Rivera of Kings of Tomorrow will close things off with a genre-defying electronic set.
