Let’s dive into the journey of these finalists, the fierce competition leading up to the grand finale, and what makes the Mrs South Africa platform a beacon of empowerment for women across the nation.

The Road to the Top 30 Finalists

The journey to becoming a finalist in the Mrs South Africa 2025 competition is no easy feat. The semi-final round, which took place from 2 July 2025 at Hotel Sky in Sandton, saw women from across the country battling it out for a coveted spot. The event, hosted by media personality Ayanda Thabethe, included a variety of empowerment workshops, a swimwear presentation, and, of course, an in-depth judging process.

The competition lead into a dazzling live showcase, where the semi-finalists displayed their passion and purpose. Judges assessed the contestants on various criteria, including leadership potential, community involvement, and communication skills. After three days of intense interviews, rehearsals, and workshops, the finalists were announced, each representing a story of strength, hope, and ambition.

    Empowerment at Its Core

At the heart of Mrs South Africa 2025 lies empowerment. Joani Jacobs, CEO of Mrs South Africa, expressed her pride in the semi-finalists, stating: “Every entrant arrives with a story worth telling. Our job is to amplify those stories and share their messages of courage, hope, and purpose, while equipping them to become leaders in their own spheres.”

She continued, “We’ve seen them go from women already beaming with confidence but unsure how best to direct their strengths, into powerful leaders who can command a room and bring about change through sheer force of will. We look forward to seeing what else the journey of life holds for them.”

The platform offers women a chance not only to shine but to impact their communities in meaningful ways. Through leadership workshops, charity initiatives, and advocacy campaigns, these finalists are prepared to become trailblazers and role models for women across South Africa.
