Salary Package:
- PND I: R476,667.00 – R559,548.00 per annum (plus benefits)
- PND II: R583,989.00 – R685,293.00 per annum (plus benefits)
Key Requirements:
- Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Basic Nursing Qualification, accredited by the South African Nursing Council (SANC), such as a Diploma/ Degree in Nursing Education and Administration
- Post Basic Diploma Qualification (R.212 or R48), registered with SANC
- A Master’s degree in Nursing is advantageous
- Proof of current registration with SANC
- PND I: At least 4 years of relevant nursing experience after registering as a Professional Nurse and Midwife/ Accoucheur
- PND II: A minimum of 14 years of nursing experience, with 10 years specifically in Nursing Education
- Assessors and Moderator Certificates (advantageous)
- Excellent communication, supervisory, report writing, and presentation skills
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- A valid driver’s license
Job Duties:
As the Lecturer – Student Affairs Professional Officer, you will take on a range of important responsibilities aimed at improving the academic experience and ensuring student success. Your tasks will include:
- Developing and maintaining academic documents for the management of both theoretical and clinical teaching
- Managing recruitment and selection of students, ensuring adherence to relevant criteria
- Overseeing the maintenance of student records, tracking academic progress
- Collaborating with stakeholders within the college and beyond to foster strong relationships
- Supervising administrative staff and ensuring smooth daily operations
- Planning and coordinating orientation programs, along with the organization of graduation ceremonies
- Ensuring compliance with academic assessments, preparing invigilation lists, and managing the process of formative and summative assessments
