Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interactions: Engage with customers through walk-ins, telephone calls, and emails to address their inquiries, service requests, and complaints.
- Data Entry and Analysis: Analyse and capture customer data accurately into the system, using appropriate software packages such as SAP CIC and CRM.
- Liaison: Work with other departments and external role players to resolve customer issues effectively.
- Improvement Actions: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and ensure service delivery remains aligned with Batho Pele principles.
- Statistical Reporting: Maintain detailed statistical records of customer complaints and inquiries, providing input to monthly reports.
- Customer Education: Ensure customers are informed and their issues are resolved with the utmost professionalism and care.
Qualifications and Experience
- Educational Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) is a minimum requirement.
- Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer care or call centre operations, including familiarity with call centre technological systems.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of City of Tshwane operations, billing processes, and a sound understanding of the Batho Pele principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook is required; knowledge of SAP CIC and CRM is an added advantage.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work at any regional customer care centre, including both walk-in centres and call centres.
- Successful completion of a criminal record check and fingerprinting by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at the candidate’s own cost.
- Multilingual skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organisational, planning, and leadership skills, along with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Remuneration
- Salary Range: R357,972.00 – R497,184.00 per annum
- Estimated Total Remuneration: R488,598.00 – R665,789.00 per annum
