Admin Officer Position Overview
The Admin Officer (Caretaking & Nurseries) will play a central role in providing administrative and workflow support to ensure efficient operations within the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for internal coordination, reporting, compliance, and stakeholder liaison.

Remuneration

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
- National Diploma in Public Administration, Office Management, Local Government Management or a related administrative field.
- A minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in administration.
Core Responsibilities
The appointed officer will be expected to:
Administrative Support
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative processes and maintain smooth workflow across the division.
- Ensure accurate internal communication and timely handling of administrative tasks.
Reporting & Compliance
- Consolidate information and prepare reports in line with divisional reporting cycles.
- Maintain strict compliance with internal reporting standards.
Human Resources Support
- Provide HR-related administration, ensuring compliance with workforce policies.
- Assist in workforce development and resource planning activities.
Procurement & Financial Support
- Manage procurement processes for goods and services required for daily operations.
- Support financial administration to ensure timely delivery of services.
Contract & Project Administration
- Oversee the administrative aspects of contracts and projects.
- Monitor execution and compliance to support successful project delivery.
Asset & Inventory Management
- Maintain accountability for municipal tools and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with asset management procedures.
Stakeholder & Depot Liaison
- Act as the point of contact for depot-related communication.
- Facilitate effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
