30 January 2023, Johannesburg – The popular and fast-growing festival presented by the creatives at Locrate Market is now on its 9th year. The Festival has built a unique positioning of being a developmental property which is rooted in communities and using everything local but retaining a glocal focus. In the last 9 years, the festival has managed to unearth some of the leading creative entrepreneurs and change makers in the country, inspiring other townships across Gauteng to nurture and believe in their local products while continuing to create jobs and contributing to the building and firming of the destination Soweto brand.

The 2023 Festival was power packed with music, food, fashion, business success stories and the best of Sowetan culture, vibe and friendliness.
