The Western Cape faces cloudy conditions over the southern and south-western parts, while inland towns can expect partly cloudy to fine skies. Temperatures will remain cold to cool, with coastal areas in particular waking up to chilly mornings.
Eastern Cape (western half)
The western half of the Eastern Cape will start the day partly cloudy and cool, before turning fine in the north during the afternoon. This improvement will benefit inland farming areas, which should see some sunshine later in the day.
Eastern Cape (eastern half)
Fog patches will appear in the north-east during the morning, followed by cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Conditions in the northern interior will clear to fine by the afternoon, but coastal towns should brace for a cooler day overall.
KwaZulu-Natal
KwaZulu-Natal will be the coldest province of the day. Morning fog patches will form in the west before giving way to a cloudy, cool-to-cool day. Isolated showers and rain are expected in most areas, except for the far north-west, which will remain partly cloudy.
