Between February and May 2025, parcel collections at Pick n Pay pickup points more than doubled. Currently, the network processes over 14,000 parcels monthly, serving more than 45,000 unique customers. This impressive growth highlights how much South Africans appreciate the convenience of collecting parcels on their own schedule, without waiting at home for deliveries.

How the Pickup Points Work
Takealot pickup points are situated close to the customer service kiosks inside select Pick n Pay stores. When placing an order on Takealot, customers select their preferred Pick n Pay pickup location. After their order arrives at the store, they get a collection notification by SMS or email. They then visit the store during regular hours to collect their parcels.
Most items are eligible for pickup this way. Only very bulky or oversized products may not qualify for collection at Pick n Pay. This convenient service combines two errands into one trip, making it popular with shoppers.
