Gauteng

Expect clear skies in the afternoon, which will give way to a cooler evening with temperatures dropping to around 15°C by nightfall. Soweto, Benoni, and other municipalities will experience similar patterns, making for a pleasant day in this province.

Western Cape

Moving towards the Western Cape, particularly Cape Town’s weather will be quite agreeable, with temperatures starting off at 15°C this morning and reaching a comfortable high of 19°C by midday. Clear skies and sunshine will dominate, making it a perfect day for outdoor activities. Expect a mild evening with temperatures cooling to 17°C. In the surrounding areas, such as Stellenbosch and George, you can anticipate similar conditions, wrapped in mild sunshine throughout the day.

KwaZulu-Natal

In KwaZulu-Natal, the east coast city of Durban will see slightly warmer temperatures starting at 17°C early in the morning, climbing to a balmy 23°C by noon. Expect clear skies and pleasant weather, although a few clouds will begin to roll in later in the day. Pietermaritzburg will follow similar trends with early morning temperatures of 13°C. The evening brings in cooler weather, proportionate to the coastal influences.

Eastern Cape

In the Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth weather will see mild morning temperatures at 14°C rising to 22°C around midday, making for a comfortable day in this coastal city. Expect mostly sunny conditions, but with some clouds later in the day. In contrast, East London is forecasted to be similarly inviting, while Mthatha will experience a slightly cooler 12°C in the morning, reaching 20°C by midday.

Free State

The Free State region will start off a bit chilly in the morning hours—Bloemfontein, for example, will begin the day at only 10°C. It will warm up significantly, peaking at 23°C in the afternoon. Overall, this province can expect a sunny day with clear skies dominating as we head into the evening.

Limpopo

In Limpopo, the weather today is expected to be warmer than many regions, with temperatures in Polokwane reaching up to 28°C during peak hours. Expect clearer weather and ample sunshine as well. The heat will be similar in Thohoyandou and Lephalale, making it suitable for those planning outdoor excursions.

Mpumalanga

Over in Mpumalanga, Mbombela will experience a pleasant spring-like day with a starting temperature of 12°C rising to around 27°C. Sunny conditions will prevail throughout; the comfortable evening is expected to settle at about 22°C. Areas like Secunda and Emalahleni will follow suit with warm temperatures and clear skies.

North West

In North West, expect a moderately warm day in Mahikeng with temperatures soaring to 27°C after a cooler morning start at 11°C. The day will be characterized by clear and sunny weather, allowing for outdoor activities. Rustenburg will experience similarly warm conditions, making it a delightful day for residents and visitors.

Northern Cape

Finally, in the Northern Cape, cities like Kimberley will wake up to 11°C, gradually warming up to 28°C by midday. Residents can enjoy a bright, sunny day which will remain inviting into the evening. Upington will be the hottest, reaching a high of around 33°C, making it ideal for farmers and outdoor enthusiasts.
