Gauteng Province Weather Forecast

Moving eastward to KwaZulu-Natal, today’s outlook is favorable with warm conditions prevailing. Durban will see a minimum of 13°C in the morning, hitting a high of 21°C in the afternoon, coupled with plenty of sunshine. Other areas, like Pietermaritzburg and Richards Bay, will also enjoy warmer weather with highs reaching 17°C and 22°C, respectively. While a UV index warning is in place, sunblock is essential for outdoor activities, particularly along the coast. Strong winds may be prevalent, especially near Richards Bay.

Eastern Cape Weather Forecast

The Eastern Cape will mirror similar pleasant conditions. Port Elizabeth and East London are expected to bask in sunshine, with temperatures starting from a mild 8°C and peaking to 19°C later in the day. Free State Weather Forecast

Polokwane and Lephalale also experience mild conditions, making it a pleasant day for those looking to explore the outdoors. However, remain alert for localized showers that might occur in isolated areas.

Mpumalanga

In Mpumalanga, temperatures will display a range from 5°C to 22°C through the day. Areas like Mbombela can expect a balmy maximum temperature, making for a comfortable afternoon. Nevertheless, conditions may turn cooler during the night, advising residents to dress warmly against the dropping temperatures and possibly isolated showers.

North West

North West province will witness moderate temperatures today, with Mahikeng and Rustenburg enjoying highs around 17°C and 18°C. The weather remains predominantly clear and fine, allowing residents to bask in the sun, although cooler conditions prevail in the early morning and after sunset.

Northern Cape

Lastly, the Northern Cape forecast shows cooler temperatures, particularly in Kimberley, where early morning temperatures can dip to as low as 4°C. However, like much of the country, the daytime will bring some relief with a high of 18°C. It’s important to note that there’s an extremely high fire danger especially in the Kareeberg Local Municipality, prompting caution for anyone engaging in outdoor activities involving fire.
