South Africa will commemorate World Tourism Day on Sunday, 27 September 2026, with the national celebration taking place at Legend Golf and Safari Resort in the Waterberg District of Limpopo. While the official programme takes place outside Gauteng, residents can mark the day closer to home by exploring the province’s heritage sites, museums, parks, wildlife attractions and cultural destinations.
