Kaizer Chiefs secured a 3-0 victory over TS Galaxy in the Carling Knockout Round of 16 at FNB Stadium in Nasrec on Tuesday, 27 October 2026, with Wandile Duba scoring all three goals to send Amakhosi into the quarterfinals. The victory ended Chiefs’ four match winless run in domestic football and provided a timely confidence boost ahead of Saturday’s Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates. Head coach Fernando Da Cruz credited the team’s improved efficiency in front of goal, while Duba revealed that social media exchanges with TS Galaxy had motivated the players before the encounter.
