SASSA has confirmed that some social grant payments have been delayed or suspended as part of an ongoing review process aimed at checking whether beneficiaries still qualify for assistance. The South African Social Security Agency says more than 400,000 SASSA grants have been flagged, with over 200,000 already assessed.
