Pitso Mosimane has officially been appointed as the new head coach of Bafana Bafana, the South African Football Association announced on Tuesday, 1 September 2026. The appointment comes after the departure of Hugo Broos following South Africa’s historic FIFA World Cup campaign and places one of the country’s most accomplished football coaches back in charge of the national team.
