CSA Awards 2025: Full List of Nominees Featuring Rabada, Bavuma, and Mlaba
Cricket South Africa (CSA) has officially unveiled the full list of nominees for the 2025 CSA Awards, set to take place during a grand gala evening at Emperors Palace in Kempton Park on 31 July. The awards aim to celebrate the finest performances across the 2024/25 domestic and international cricket seasons.
Mlaba Dominates Women’s Categories
One of the standout names is spin sensation Nonkululeko Mlaba, who leads the nomination charts with a remarkable five nods across key categories. She is shortlisted for:
- Women’s T20I Player of the Year
- Women’s ODI Player of the Year
- SA Women’s Player of the Year
- Delivery of the Year (with two separate entries)
- SA Fans’ Player of the Year
Mlaba’s performance this past season was nothing short of extraordinary. She claimed 10 wickets in South Africa’s only women’s Test match against England in Bloemfontein, and picked up 14 more wickets in 11 limited-overs fixtures. Her consistent brilliance has placed her in strong contention for the top honours.
Top Men’s Players in the Spotlight
Among the male cricketers, several prominent Proteas are in line for multiple accolades. Kagiso Rabada, Temba Bavuma, and Ryan Rickelton have each received three nominations, highlighting their stellar contributions during the season. They will go head-to-head in the Men’s Player of the Year category alongside Keshav Maharaj and Marco Jansen.

CSA CEO Pholetsi Moseki emphasized the significance of the awards, stating:
