Available Internship Positions
Brand South Africa is currently seeking eight (8) interns in various fields. Each position requires specific academic qualifications and offers a pathway to gaining practical, hands-on experience in the following departments:
1. Research – X2
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Role Overview: Research interns will work on projects aimed at gathering, analysing, and presenting data to help shape strategies that drive South Africa’s global reputation.
2. Global Markets – X1
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Digital Marketing, Advertising, Brand Management, or Marketing.
- Role Overview: This internship focuses on driving South Africa’s marketing strategies in international markets, requiring creativity and an understanding of global brand dynamics.
3. Stakeholder Relations – X1
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Stakeholder Management, Public Relations, Project Management, Marketing, Development Studies, or Communications.
- Role Overview: Interns will assist in managing relationships with stakeholders to promote South Africa’s image and ensure alignment with the organisation’s goals.
4. Information Technology – X1
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related ICT qualification. Additional certifications like CompTIA A+, N+, or Microsoft certifications will be advantageous.
- Role Overview: The IT intern will support Brand South Africa’s digital systems, ensuring smooth functionality and contributing to technical solutions that enhance the brand’s operations.
5. Office of the CEO – X1
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or Communications.
- Role Overview: This role offers interns the opportunity to work closely with the CEO’s office, providing support in strategic projects and gaining exposure to high-level decision-making processes.
6. Governance Legal and Board Secretariat – X1
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Law or any other relevant law degree.
- Role Overview: Interns in this department will support legal and governance processes, contributing to compliance and the overall integrity of Brand South Africa’s operations.
7. Finance – X1
- Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accounting or any other relevant qualifications.
- Role Overview: The Finance intern will assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting tasks, gaining exposure to the financial operations of a leading national brand.
