The 4-star Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre is located in the Fourways area of northern Johannesburg and is a popular venue for large conferences with 24 air-conditioned venues that can accommodate up to 2,000 delegates in total or up to 500 guests for a banqueting event. The hotel has 260 modern rooms, all with en-suite bathrooms and desks for business travellers to use while they keep up to speed with what’s happening in the office.
Many decades ago the hotel was a small countryside guesthouse called the Little Rose Neath Hotel, which was a popular stop off for people travelling between Johannesburg and Pretoria. These days the area is very much a part of the city, but the much expanded hotel retains its feeling of being in the countryside. The hotel looks out over the Kgotla Dam and the grounds are populated by indigenous flora and fauna. Guests can spend their mornings walking through the grounds looking for birds and other wildlife or relax by the pool. Other amenities include the Mowana Indaba day spa and the in-house Innergize Beauty and Relaxation Centre, two restaurants and the Siphuza bar. The hotel and conference centre provides free Wi-fi.
