The Mandela Day Walk returns on Sunday 19 July 2026, starting from 07:30 at the DP World Wanderers Stadium in Illovo, Sandton. Inspired by Madiba’s famous walks, the Mandela Day Walk winds through the leafy streets of Houghton and offers a 21km half marathon, a 10km race and a 5km family walk, welcoming thousands of participants for a morning of movement, community and celebration.
