Get ready to experience the 22nd Vaal River Carnival! This multi-event celebration spans from September 6th to October 5th, 2025, offering a diverse range of activities for everyone. The carnival is a vibrant showcase of the Vaal region’s culture, entertainment, and community spirit, all set against the scenic backdrop of the Vaal River.

Event Highlights:

  • Vaal Pride By The River: Kicking off the carnival on September 6th, this event at Caravan Park promises a day of music, performance, and community celebration.
  • Kgalala All White Soul Session: A stylish and soulful gathering at Kgalala Palace on September 7th.
  • Double Bill Theater: Enjoy a theatrical performance at the Eldorado Community Arts Centre on September 13th.
  • Ultramog Sessions: A weekend of high-energy music and entertainment at Emfuleni River Park on September 13th.
  • Lekolea Soccer Clinics & Soccer Tournament: A sporting event for soccer enthusiasts at George Thabe Stadium on September 13th and 14th.
  • Vaal River City Marathon: Runners can test their endurance at this marathon starting from Isak Steyl Stadium on September 14th.
