Did you know Ekurhuleni is home to a world-renowned, award-winning fine-dining restaurant? If not, you should certainly head out there and give it a try.
There are also several other good eateries (not necessarily fine-dining establishments) in the area. Here are a few of our favourites:
Fahrenheit Seafood & Grill
Not sure if you’re in the mood for seafood, a succulent steak or chicken? Or if you’d rather opt for a salad, pasta or curry?
Then Fahrenheit Seafood & Grill should be your go-to family restaurant in Ekurhuleni, formerly known as the East Rand.
The menu offers a myriad of choices – from a variety of calamari, fish and prawn dishes and seafood platters to T-bone, fillet, rump, sirloin, spare ribs and kebabs.
Still can’t decide? Try the combo grill dishes: six medium prawns served with either 600g of ribs, 300g of rump or 200g of fillet. Each of these dishes are served with seasonal vegetables and a choice of potato wedges, rice, mash or baked potato.
The restaurant also has a comprehensive wine list, some served by the glass, as well as craft beers and cocktails.
