The new A5 is offered in four trims, with prices starting from R1,123,000.

The A5 has a refreshed exterior featuring a wider, flatter SingleFrame grille with a three-dimensional honeycomb pattern. The bonnet is seamlessly integrated, creating a smooth front-end profile. At the rear, a pronounced spoiler lip and a continuous three-dimensional light strip provide a sporty look. The sedan also has a redesigned bumper, dark diffuser, and rectangular exhaust outlets.

Colour options include three new metallic finishes: Horizon Blue, Grenadine Red, and Ascari Blue.

Interior and Technology

The cabin features Audi’s new Digital Stage, which combines a 14.5-inch infotainment display and an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit into a single panoramic screen. A configurable heads-up display provides 3D visualizations for driver assistance systems, showing cars, cyclists, and pedestrians.

Optional features include a 10.9-inch passenger-side screen for media, navigation, and infotainment controls, hidden from the driver’s view. The infotainment system runs on Android Automotive, granting access to apps without requiring a smartphone connection.

Audi has also incorporated ChatGPT as a voice assistant, activated via a push-to-talk button or by saying “Hey Audi.” Ambient lighting offers 30 colour options, and decorative inlays are available in brushed aluminium, open-pore wood, or carbon fibre depending on the trim level.

Other interior highlights include a wireless charging pad, cooled storage compartment, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. The base S Line has 16 speakers, while Black Edition models feature 20, including headrest speakers for personalized announcements.
