“I wouldn’t be honest if I said I’m going to stay if the club doesn’t provide all the tools to succeed next season,” said Nabi. “Nasreddine Nabi observed that they have made promises, and I have made a promise to the fans—that I will build a team capable of winning trophies in every competition.”
He went on to say that he does not want to endure another season like this one, hinting at frustrations behind the scenes that have hindered his ability to deliver consistent results.
Race for Top Eight Still On
With only two fixtures left in the league—against Sekhukhune United and Polokwane City—Chiefs are pushing to secure a top-eight finish, which would ensure a spot in next season’s MTN8 competition.
