GWM P300 LS Models Poised to Take on Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger

GWM has expanded its popular P300 line-up with two new LS variants, both powered by the 2.4-litre turbodiesel engine found in the higher-spec models. The rear-wheel drive version retails at R529 900, and the four-wheel drive variant retails at R579 900, making the new additions attractively priced.

LS Models Make a Statement

On this week’s episode of The Citizen Motoring’s Pitstop podcast, automotive experts discussed the potential impact of the LS models. With top-tier versions of South Africa’s best-selling bakkies—the Ford Ranger, Toyota Hilux, and Isuzu D-Max crossing or approaching the R1-million mark, GWM’s competitively priced options could shake up the market.
