How to Enter the Gautrain Competition

Entering is straightforward. To qualify, passengers must:

• Purchase and use three consecutive monthly Gautrain products on the same Gautrain card.
• Ensure that the three products are used consecutively between 1 September and 31 December 2025.
• Have an online registered Gautrain account.
• Follow Gautrain on Facebook, Instagram, or X.

The three monthly products do not need to align with the start or end of a calendar month, but you must use all three consecutively. Refunded or unused products do not count.

Once these steps are completed, entrants must fill out the online 50k Competition Entry Form, available at mygautrain.co.za.

Prize Details

The competition offers a total prize pool of R50,000, with five winners taking home R10,000 each. Winners will be selected randomly from all qualifying entries and notified using the contact details provided. If a winner cannot be reached within three working days, Gautrain reserves the right to redraw under the same conditions.

The winners will be announced on Friday, 30 January 2026, offering passengers a rewarding start to the new year.

Eligibility and Terms

This competition is open to permanent residents and citizens of South Africa. However, directors, executives, board members, and employees of Gautrain Management Agency, Bombela Concession Company, or any associated Bombela entities are not eligible.
