Key Responsibilities:

Provide social work services aimed at the care, support, protection, and development of vulnerable individuals, families, and communities.
Implement HIV and AIDS social protection programs, including Social and Behaviour Change programs.
Conduct assessments to identify conditions that require interventions, develop relevant programs, and implement them effectively.
Provide continuous support, counselling, guidance, and advice to affected individuals and communities.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure that the rights of vulnerable individuals are upheld by applying social work laws and policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work.
Registration with the South African Council for Social Service Professions as a Social Worker.
A valid driver’s license.
Knowledge of human behavior and social systems.
Ability to develop, advocate for, and empower individuals and communities to improve social functioning and problem-solving skills.
Skills to address structural sources of poverty, inequality, and discrimination.

2. Professional Nurse: Grade 1 (General Nursing)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide clinical nursing care in accordance with nursing standards and legal practices.
Promote quality nursing care in various health facilities.
Manage and oversee the health and well-being of children and youth at care centers.
Participate in the development of nursing care protocols and improve healthcare delivery standards.
Ensure all administrative duties related to nursing care are completed efficiently.

Requirements:

Basic R425 qualification (e.g., Diploma or Degree in Nursing).
Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Knowledge of legislative and policy mandates regulating nursing practice.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Experience in project management, monitoring, and evaluation.
