Boilermaker/Welder Position Overview
Rand Water is seeking a qualified and experienced Boilermaker/Welder to service, maintain, overhaul, and repair mechanical plant and equipment. Primary Duties
As a Boilermaker/Welder at Rand Water, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 or Equivalent (N3 Certificate): A basic educational qualification is essential to ensure understanding of technical processes.
- Trade Test Certificate: Proof of completing your boilermaking or welding apprenticeship through a recognized trade test.
- Post-apprenticeship Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on experience post-apprenticeship in the field.
- Valid Code 8 Driver’s Licence: A valid driver’s license is required, and applicants must also pass Rand Water’s K53 test to be eligible.
