All the Latest PSL Transfer Moves: Soweto Giants Lead Busy Transfer Window

The domestic transfer window is in full swing, and Betway Premiership clubs have wasted no time in strengthening their squads. With the PSL transfer window closing at the end of August, several teams have already made key additions, while others are still finalising deals behind closed doors.
Soweto Giants Busy in the Market
Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have dominated early transfer activity. Despite being on European pre-season tours, both clubs have continued announcing new signings to replace outgoing players from June.
Chiefs, aiming for a fresh start, have brought in a mix of local and international talent. Among their new faces are former Pirates defender Thabiso Monyane and midfielder Siphesihle Ndlovu from SuperSport United. The club has also unveiled midfielder Ethan Chislett, Portuguese striker Flavio Silva, left back Nkanyiso Shinga, and experienced defender Paseka Mako — who also joins from Pirates.
Pirates, meanwhile, have secured several promising talents. Midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba, former Sundowns star Sipho Mbule, and Baroka full-back Tshepo Mashiloane are among their new recruits. The Buccaneers have also added Oswin Appollis from Polokwane City, Nkosikhona Ndaba from Richards Bay, Tshepang Moremi from AmaZulu, Sihle Nduli from Stellenbosch FC, and Yanela Mbuthuma from Richards Bay.
Reinforcements at Stellies
Stellenbosch FC have made a couple of strategic signings, bringing in Siviwe Nkwali from relegated Cape Town Spurs and Muzomuhle Khanyi from Hungry Lions. With their young core largely intact, these additions will offer depth and options for the new campaign.
Marumo Gallants Strengthen After Promotion
Newly promoted Marumo Gallants are undergoing a full rebuild. The club has brought in striker Jaisen Clifford on a free transfer. In addition, they’ve added a large group of new players including Darrel Matsheke, Teboho Motloung, Bongolwethu Siyase, Abram Tjahikika, Simo Luthuli, Shaun Morgan, Kamohelo Sithole, Karabo Khoza, and Bheki Mabuza.
Mamelodi Sundowns Remain Quiet—For Now
Surprisingly, Mamelodi Sundowns are yet to officially announce any new signings. However, sources suggest the club is working behind the scenes, with strong links to Stellenbosch’s left back Fawaaz Basadien. Expect Sundowns to make key moves in the coming weeks.
