On Saturday, 14 February 2026, guests will embark on a romantic journey that blends the best of Johannesburg’s skyline with an intimate wildlife encounter, all curated for a night to remember. The Valentine’s Evening Experience includes: 17h30 – Departure from Rosebank. Board the iconic City Sightseeing Johannesburg open-top bus and begin your romantic evening journey.
17h50 – Sundowners at Munro Viewpoint. Enjoy panoramic sunset views over Johannesburg with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine or grape juice, accompanied by Lindt chocolates (one box per couple). 18h30 – Depart for the Johannesburg Zoo.
18h45 – Exclusive arrival at the Johannesburg Zoo. The Zoo opens its gates exclusively for City Sightseeing guests for this special Valentine’s evening. 19h00 – 20h00 – Picnic on the Zoo Lawns. Guests are invited to bring their own picnic baskets, drinks, and blankets to enjoy a relaxed evening under the stars. Alcoholic beverages are permitted.
20h00 – 21h30 – Private Guided Zoo Experience. A 1.5-hour professionally guided tour of the Zoo after dark, including time aboard game drive vehicles. Experience the magic and mystery of the Zoo by night, guided by expert Zoo staff. 21h45 – Departure back to Rosebank.
