The Magaliesberg Canopy Tour is a fully guided, exhilarating eco-adventure that allows you to fly through the ancient Magaliesberg mountains.
This unique experience takes you on a journey through the ecology and geology of the second oldest mountain range in the world, a geological marvel estimated to be 2,400 million years old and located within the Magaliesberg Biosphere Reserve.
Key Adventure Features:
- The Route: The tour consists of 11 thrilling platforms constructed high against the rock faces of the spectacular Ysterhout Kloof (Gorge).
- The Slides: These platforms are connected by 10 long steel cables (ziplines), with some slides stretching up to 140 metres and soaring 30 metres above the canopy floor and a winding mountain stream.
- The Experience: You will zig-zag down the gorge, stopping at each platform to take in the breathtaking, unspoiled views.
