Experience the magic, music, and festive fun at the Joburg Zoo Festival of Lights, lighting up the city from 27 November 2025 to 4 January 2026.
This enchanting event invites families and friends to wander through a sparkling wonderland of life-size illuminated animals and twinkling trees along a designated lit route away from the animals.
Open from 7 PM to 10 PM, Thursday to Sunday, visitors can enjoy a vibrant lineup of live music, dance performances, food and craft markets, and much more. Children under 3 enter for free, making it an ideal destination for families.
Events include a variety of themed nights featuring Jozi Youth Dance, Madagascar Jr, Spanish Dance Society, Art of Dance, DJ sessions, and live bands like The Soil, Soulful Xplosion, and BlaqDiamond, spread across six weeks of festive celebrations.
