A large upper- and lower-level trough persists over the country’s interior, driving isolated showers and thundershowers in several regions. Morning fogs are reducing visibility across key areas. Meanwhile, a cold front sweeping over the south-west is bringing cooler temperatures and showers to the Western and Southern Cape. Numerous Yellow Level 2 warnings remain active, particularly for severe thunderstorms, disruptive rains, and localized flooding.
