DPSA Vacancies for 2025
1. Internal Auditor
Reference No: DPSA 10/2025
Salary: R397,116 per annum (Level 08), with the possibility of progression up to R467,790 per annum based on performance.
Location: Pretoria
Key Requirements:
- Senior Certificate (Matric).
- A minimum of a Level 6 qualification in Internal Auditing.
- At least 2 years of experience in Internal Auditing.
- Knowledge of the Public Service Regulatory Framework and the Institute for Internal Auditors (IIA) Standards.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute audit engagements as per the annual audit plan.
- Conduct meetings, gather background information, and develop audit objectives.
- Perform testing, document findings, and communicate results with the relevant departments.
- Assist in the preparation of the Three-Year Rolling Internal Audit Plan for DPSA.

2. Legal Administration Officer (MR3-4)
Reference No: DPSA 09/2025
Salary: R324,579 to R444,075 per annum, based on OSD (Occupational Specific Dispensation).
Location: Pretoria
Key Requirements:
- Senior Certificate and an LLB or a four-year legal qualification recognized by SAQA.
- 2 to 13 years of post-qualification legal experience.
- Strong knowledge of the South African legal system, public service legislation, and related legal frameworks such as the Public Finance Management Act and the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
- Ability to conduct legal research, provide legal opinions, and work independently.
- Strong communication, writing, and dispute-resolution skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and support to the Department and Ministry.
- Draft, review, and scrutinize public administration legislation.
- Participate in policy processes and legal amendments.
- Provide support for litigation and ensure compliance with constitutional and public service legislation.

1. Z83 Form:
Starting from 1 January 2021, it is mandatory to submit the updated Z83 form. This form can be downloaded from the DPSA website at www.dpsa.gov.za/dpsa2g/vacancies.asp. If an incorrect application form is used, your application will not be considered.
2. Curriculum Vitae (CV):
Your CV should be comprehensive, detailing your qualifications, work experience, and contactable references. Please note that copies of qualifications and other documents are not required when submitting your application. However, shortlisted candidates will be asked to provide certified copies during the interview stage.
3. Social Media Access:
As part of the personnel suitability checks, candidates may be asked for consent to access their social media accounts. This is part of the background verification process, which includes checks for criminal records, citizenship verification, and financial records.
