In the affected Rangers, the FLCA may have been incorrectly fitted on the left-hand side of the vehicle instead of the correct part. This manufacturing error poses a serious safety risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/thencc.org.za\/media-statement-product-recalls-ford-ranger\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">National Consumer Commission (NCC)<\/a>, the improper fitting of the FLCA can lead to the separation of the joint. This separation may cause loss of control of the affected wheel, severely impairing vehicle handling. The vehicles were distributed nationally and exported to neighbouring Southern African countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ford South Africa has urged owners of the affected vehicles to contact their nearest authorised dealership immediately to schedule a free repair appointment.
