However, Mulaudzi strongly advised caution when using these heating methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cNever leave a heater or stove unattended,\u201d he stressed. \u201cWe\u2019ve seen tragic incidents where paraffin stoves tip over or where families inhale toxic fumes from braziers used in poorly ventilated shacks.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He urged residents to remove braziers before bedtime and keep all flammable materials away from heat sources.
