Prospective and returning students are urged to take note of the key application and registration deadlines to secure their place in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-application-period-undergraduate-and-postgraduate-qualifications\">Application Period: Undergraduate and Postgraduate Qualifications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications for a select number of undergraduate qualifications, as well as Honours degrees and Postgraduate Diplomas, are currently open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Application Opening Date:<\/strong> 14 April 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Application Closing Date:<\/strong> 9 May 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to note that this window applies <strong>only to limited qualifications<\/strong>, and students should check the Unisa website to verify if their intended programme is available for Semester 2 intake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-online-registration-undergraduate-honours-and-postgraduate-diplomas\">Online Registration: Undergraduate, Honours and Postgraduate Diplomas<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who have been accepted into their chosen programme, or are continuing with their studies, must register during the specified window:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Registration Opens:<\/strong> 30 June 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Registration Closes:<\/strong> 29 July 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Final Date for Initial Minimum Payment:<\/strong> 29 July 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Only <strong>online registrations<\/strong> will be accepted. Unisa has emphasized that no in-person or postal registrations will be processed for Semester 2 modules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This registration period applies to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Undergraduate Semester 2 modules<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honours degrees (Semester 2 modules)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Postgraduate Diplomas (Semester 2 modules)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-year-modules-registration\">Year Modules Registration<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enrolling in <strong>year-long modules<\/strong> still have until <strong>31 March 2025<\/strong> to complete their registration. This deadline remains unchanged from the earlier academic calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-financial-support-and-outstanding-debt\">Financial Support and Outstanding Debt<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Understanding the financial challenges many students face, Unisa continues to support those:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With outstanding historical debt<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Awaiting NSFAS or other bursary funding confirmation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In such cases, provisional registration may be allowed under certain conditions.
