In the third quarter of the 2024\/25 financial year alone, more than 9,300 women were raped, and over 13,700 were assaulted. Additionally, 966 women were murdered. These figures underscore the extreme violence faced by women in South Africa. They plan to address it through systemic reforms and the implementation of strategic plans.
