This follows its initial reveal in Europe late last year. Stellantis South Africa presented the facelifted Mokka at its annual Media Connect event in Johannesburg. This signals a bold evolution in the compact SUV segment.

Refreshed Exterior with Sleek Finishes

The new Opel Mokka sticks to a two-model line-up. It boasts noticeable exterior updates that align with Opel’s “Bold and Pure” design language. Key enhancements include a high-gloss black Opel Vizor grille and centralised Opel Blitz emblem. This is now a defining feature known as the Opel Compass. The Chrome detailing was removed. Additionally, the front bumper receives a sharper, sportier redesign. At the back, the tailgate is now adorned with a refreshed Mokka badge in a sleek script style.

Replacing the previous Elegance trim, the entry-level Edition model now comes standard with 17-inch alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the more dynamic GS Line sports newly designed 18-inch diamond-cut alloys and a striking black roof as standard.

Both versions also benefit from upgraded LED headlights. These now feature integrated magnifying glass technology. They deliver resolution comparable to Opel’s advanced Matrix IntelliLux system.

Image: Opel

<ins class="adsbygoogle" style="display:block;" data-ad-client="ca-pub-1852772760112594"
data-ad-slot="1819787043"
data-ad-format="auto" data-full-width-responsive="true"></ins>

Interior Overhaul with High-Tech Touches

Inside, the facelift introduces Opel’s Pure Panel cockpit as a new standard.
