The Miss South Africa Organisation announced this decision on 21 July 2025. They cited the need for better coordination with international events and strategic repositioning as the primary reasons for the change. Earlier in July, CEO <strong>Stephanie Weil<\/strong>, who had led the organisation through a phase of modernisation and expanded focus on social activism, women&#8217;s leadership, and inclusivity, announced her departure. Participants, sponsors, and fans who had been eagerly anticipating the announcement of the <strong>Top 30 contestants<\/strong> were left disheartened, particularly since entries closed in April.
