VW South Africa assures affected owners that the repairs will be free of charge.\u00a0A spokesperson from the company said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volvo also issued a recall<\/a> on 26\u00a0Plug-in Hybrid<\/strong>\u00a0XC90 models because of an issue that may result in a temporary loss in braking capability when using “B” mode, or one-pedal drive.\u00a0This defect may reduce braking performance, especially when coasting downhill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Volvo South Africa’s representative said: “Volvo puts customer safety first, so we contact owners immediately to arrange repairs.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Toyota Hino 500 Series Recall<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Toyota’s\u00a0Hino Series\u00a0is the largest recall, with 6,739 affected units.\u00a0The affected vehicles may have difficulty releasing their parking brakes, which can be dangerous in an emergency, especially for large commercial vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toyota South Africa spokesperson commented on the matter:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
