A remarkable new show aims to change the perception of small things as insignificant. The TINY exhibition of small artworks lets the idea of scale fall away – focusing only on different media, subject matter and style.
Visit the In Toto Gallery in Birdhaven, Johannesburg, to see the work of more than 50 local and international artists from 6 to 24 July, using media ranging from thread, sequins, bone, oil and ink to pin-hole photography. The artists include Luke Batha, Katlego Modiri, Amita Makan and Audrey Anderson.
The opening night event on the 6th will start at 6pm and end at 10pm. After that, you can view the exhibition at the gallery from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, and 9am to 1pm on Saturdays until the 24th.
Entrance is free.
