Sibyllines is a group exhibition that will be exploring the complex identity of African women and the often “stereotypical image” of them. Don’t miss this exciting, introspective show at the Alliance Française in Parkview, Johannesburg, from 10 to 26 August 2017.
Five artists will showcase their interpretations of the concept using their respective talents. You can look forward to works from Boitumelo Mazibuko, Lesego Seoketsa aka Azania Forest, Paul Shiakallis, Nelisiwe Xaba and Nontsikelelo Veleko.
The opening-night proceedings will start at 6pm and the exhibition is open from 9am until 7pm from Mondays to Thursdays. The venue closes at 6pm on Fridays, 1pm on Saturday and is closed on Sundays.
Entrance is free.
