If you can stand the heat, then you should head to the Maropeng kitchen to check out the Radio Cook Off at the Cradle of Humankind's visitor centre, located on Gauteng's West Rand, on 27 October 2018.
Spatulas will flip the #GPLifestyle upside down when pairs of DJs from six different radio stations head to this World Heritage Site for a great day of delicious food, good music and fun cooking challenges. Each team will receive a bag of mystery ingredients to prepare sumptuous servings for guests who will vote and crown the best radio cook.
You and your family can also look forward to seeing your favourite media celebrities, and the kiddies' museum tour will be open to entertain the little ones. The event starts at 10am.
Tickets start at R100, and go up to R450 for the overnight backpacker package that includes bed and breakfast.
