Marabastad Jazz Festival

The Marabastad Jazz Festival is a musical experience that will incorporate innovative enthralling jazz performances. We’re celebrating the indigenous and contemporary jazz sounds created by the vivacious and vibrant sound of the Marabastad’s own monogram of Marabi music. It gave birth to indigenous African jazz and the rise of many famous jazz musicians. Earmark this debut launch. The Marabastad jazz festival is set to be a hallmark annual event that will showcase a potpourri of South African Jazz talents paying tribute to the once vibrant, multicultural, and multiracial slum called Marabastad with an intent to promote social cohesion and nation-building.
