Make room in your schedule for the 7th International Tourism Studies Association (ITSA) Biennial Conference, taking place at the CSIR International Conference Centre in Pretoria, Tshwane, from 6 to 10 August 2018. This is the first time an ITSA Biennial Conference is being held in Africa.
The ITSA is a non-profit membership organisation that encourages interaction and cooperation between developed and developing countries by working with scholars, researchers and practitioners in the tourism industry. It is "devoted to scholarly exchange between researchers and practitioners focusing on the growth of tourism worldwide".
For the upcoming conference, the organisers are inviting all interested parties to bring enthusiasm and ideas to an event that will cover a wide range of topics, combining interests across a broad spectrum. This is an excellent opportunity to meet tourism professionals, academics, industry stakeholders and government organisations from around the world with whom you can interact and potentially work.
This year, the conference seeks to advance the theory and practice of tourism and hospitality by calling for themed submissions of papers, case studies, session proposals, poster presentations and oral presentations that share, question, critique, develop and rethink tourism and hospitality ideas.
For an opportunity to share your inspiring ideas as an author, register online and submit your research papers to email@example.com by 6 July 2018. At least one author per paper must be registered, with the registration fee paid by the time of final paper submission, for inclusion in the conference proceedings.
